Born in
Athens, Greece in 1966, Frosso Mantziou holds a BA in Archaeology.
After a year as Chief Librarian at the Greek Archaeological Society,
she joined the Department of Underwater Antiquities of the Greek
Ministry of Culture in 1993, taking part in land and underwater
excavations in various parts of Greece.
She
later worked for Greenpeace-Greece, as a member of the Fundraising
Department in charge of High Donations, and as Administrative
Assistant for the Interdisciplinary Institute for Environmental
Research.
In 1999
she assumed the post of Press Officer for the Greek Ministry of
Culture and in 2000 she was appointed Senior Secretary at the
Cabinet of the Greek Deputy Minister for the Environment.
During
late 2001-2002 she worked as a public-relations consultant for
various environmental organizations (organizing, among other events,
the ceremony for the establishment of the MedWet Coordination Unit
at Villa Kazouli).
She
currently holds the position of Office Manager in MedWet where she
begun working in April 2003.
She
speaks Greek, English and French.
