Environmental NGOs in the Prespa region, in Korcha,
The first meeting of the environmental NGOs in the Prespa region was organized in
Representatives from various local NGOs in the three
countries, attended the meeting, such as: the Friends of Prespa,
the Center for the Sustainable Development of Prespa,
the Sun of Liqenas and the Protection and
Preservation of the Natural Environment in Albania (PPNEA)

During the meeting, the current activities held in the Prespa region by the PPCC and its
Secretariat were presented, as well as the PDF B project, an internationally funded project
to assess the environmental and socio-economic issues relevant to the
management of the Prespa Park Region,
and the role of the NGOs within it. The NGOs representatives had the
opportunity to exchange experience in the field of environmental protection and
sustainable development in the Prespa region and
discuss in open about the need for establishment of a regional environmental
network.
